So funny. Kit Harrington is adorbs. One of my best friends ships Dany and Jon Snow so hard - even though they have never met - and it's not like there isn't hints they might get together. He's after all the ice and she's the fire in the Song of Ice and Fire. I told him that if R+L=J is true, then she's his Aunt but it's okay because her parents were siblings. Some people think she's not the mad king's daughter, though, but she would still be a Targaryen through her mother.

Talk about a power couple. Dany and Snow would be one.

I think it would be a huge letdown if Jon and Dany didn't eventually meet and sparks flew.

The interesting thing about tonight is the show has now caught up to or surpassed the books. I haven't read the most recent book, but I was spoiled enough to know about the two big giant events tonight - the walk of shame and the stabbing/killing of Jon Snow. I'm definitely in the camp that Jon will be resurrected somehow - in fact the prophecy about The Prince that was Promised/Azor Ahai - basically says he will be. And Melisandre is there at the wall, knowing she was wrong about Stannis being the one. My guess is she'll use her magic to resurrect Jon.
But tonight - unlike the last two episodes, I ended on a sort of glum - oh, well. It was such a mean episode in so many ways that I feel like it will be good to have break. I'll watch next year, but I won't be mourning the show until then.
Tonight felt a lot like - thin out the cast night as well.

The whole thing was just depressing. I've heard the last book pretty much ends in the same cliffhanger involving Snow. So is another book supposed to come out before next season?

I found last night's episode exhausting. It didn't have the same power as episodes 8 and 9, and I did not enjoy Cersei's walk of shame but I do know it was meant to be a bad thing and not a good thing.
I thought Stannis's arc ended way too quickly. It was only one or two scenes and then done.
You know that Marcella couldn't live, but I also expected her to be around a little longer.
Like many fans, I believe that Jon Snow is a Messiah-figure, so I think Melisandre will use her magic to bring him back to life. I think she realizes that Jon, not Stannis is Azor Ahai now.

I definitely think there's a connection with Melisandre's assumption that the "Snow" has been melted by Shireen's sacrifice and Jon Snow's death. I think Shrieen's death will be - creepily - not in vain. But it won't cause Stannis to ascend, obviously, but it will help resurrect Jon and he will become the hero that Melisandre is desperate to create.

Here is a funny article about the casting of the naked man who harassed Cersei on her Walk of Shame. NSFW

I saw that! I think everyone knows that Jon isn't going to be permanently dead because GRRMartin has basically said so a few times, it's just a question of whether Jon will remain dead for next season or not.
I think Melisandre is going to resurrect him in the first episode.

They say the next book will be out by next season, and that he's shared the basic story with the producers of the show because basically they've caught up to the books.

Jon Snow will be back. Because the actor Kit Harington hasn't cut his hair. If you know anything about him you know he wanted to cut his hair so bad. I don't any spoilers just speculating.
