Anyone watch Shameless? Next to Will and Sonny on Days may fav gay couple has to be Ian and Micky. The show is messed up and so is their relationship but underneath it all is beautiful love story.

Love this show! And not just for Ian and Mickey. The entire show is so inappropriate that I just laugh at most of it. I love how crude the show can be at times. As a Canadian, I am a fan of Noel Fisher....trivia, his rl wife/girlfriend? played the role of the gorgeous 'casino cop' who followed Mel to Salem looking for their stolen $$.

Noel and Cameron are both amazing. Cameron is doing a great job right now with the bipolar s/l.
I think the one that's shocking me the most right now is Carl. I don't have words to describe him. lol

I know...Carl. The next Ted Bundy.
Cameron is such a good actor, I caught him on Gotham the other week as a young 'Joker'. He was perfect in that. I would like to see Cameron be acknowledged at Emmy time, but sadly I don't think that will happen.
Noel Fisher is really underrated imo. His first serious acting role was playing a young Sheldon Kennedy (hockey player) at 14 and I don't think he's stopped working since.

All of them are great but William seems to be the only one to get Emmy nods. It think the show is to in your face for the Voters taste. Yes he was great as the Joker, I hope they have him on more.

I can't help it. I love it. I want to quit it for its gratuitous violence, misogyny (especially the show, not the books) and its habit of killing off characters that are interesting and keeping alive ones that bore me.
But I can't quit it.

I did watch last night, and I am a bit overwhelmed. Not much happened, as it was lots of setup for the season but oh my, Mance, you poor dear! At least Jon Snow did something rather than sit around and brood.

Thinking of crossovers...
Bradys = House of Stark Hortons = House of Arran Johnsons = House of Greyjoy DiMeras = House of Targaryan Kiriakas = House of Lannister Roberts = House Tyrrel
This would make Will a member of three houses, Tyrrel, Arran and Stark but he'd be a bastard. He'd have to go by Will Snow, unless Lumi's marriage legitimized him. I can see him getting involved with Cousin Loras at some point.
Coloring aside, Sonny would be a Lannister and a Greyjoy, but I have a feeling he'd not be so close to Uncle Tywin/Victor.
Paul would probably come from one of the free cities, probably Braavos.

I would have put the Hortons as the Starks...but I like the idea of Roman - Ned, Kim - Sansa, Bo- Jon Snow, Kayla - Arya, if you want to go with Old School Days.
Sonny would be a good Renly equivalent and I think Paul is far more Loras- like. I think Will is closer to the hustler Olyver - if they must be pegged to gay characters, LOL. Actually, they have started to develop Olyver as a character and he doesn't appear in the books, because apparently Renly and Loras's relationship is very oblique in the books. There was actually a fairly explicit scene between Olyvar and Loras in the premiere and there are some leaked episodes that indicate they get their own storyline.
Oh, my - I could also go with Sami and Eric as Cesei and Jamie, but that would make Will Joffery, and Will is way smarter than Joffery and not outright sociopathic.
Will seems more like a Peter Bayleish type if he were in the GoT universe.

Oh, no. No! I do get Sami and Cersei as analogs but I'm going with
Renly = Sonny Olyvar = Will Loras = Paul
So, maybe Olyvar is a bastard of Cersei's from when Robert was campaigning so she couldn't fool anyone that Robert was the father.
Johnny would have to be Joffery then, which I could see.

That works, but that means Renly never meets Will while alive. Although, on the show, Renly is one of those characters that could return because he died a very magical death.
I tried to embed this but

I have heard that the scene with Olyvar and Loras was not a fluke. They actually have a non-book based storyline this season.
I'm just excited that we might see Arya tonight, since her story remains one of the strongest.
