Paulina stirs up trouble for Eli and Lani.

Shawn and Ben close in on Evan.

Gabi outside Brady Pub crying. Roman stops and asks what is wrong. She says she just got dumped. He says he is so sorry, then says he didn't know she was seeing anyone. She says "well how about humiliated & disrespected. " She starts going on about how Jake Dimera prefers Kate over her. "Kate Dimera who is old enough to be his mother, who has been with every man in Salem. " Roman says "stop it, you do realize you are talking about the mother of my children, my ex-wife." Gabi apologizes and then says he has to admit Jake could do so much better than Kate. Roman says he has no idea what Kate sees in Jake. Gabi says "what's wrong with Jake?" Then she says she doesn't care anymore. She is over that man. Roman gives her his handkerchief so she can wipe her eyes- she blows her nose on it then hands it back to him (ewww) - he says to keep it. She walks off.
Paulina and Abe discussing her business proposal. He says he will arrange a meeting with the landlord. She starts talking about how Salem has no diversity, it's a one-horse town, quaint and boring. Too white for hwe. It needs some color. I don't really care for her snobbish attitude.
Theo arrives at Lani's place. He came a day early. He has gifts for the twins. A pink bracelet and a blue bracelet. Made by some group in South Africa . Lani is touched. She asks if he wants to hold Jules. She asks if he would like to be Jules' godfather. He accepts. She says they plan to ask Julie to be her godmother. (Why? She is already the great-grandmother). He asks about Carver's godparents. Lani says they are asking Abe and Valerie (why? They are already grandparents). She invites Theo to come with her to Julie's Place so they can ask the others. He tells her he broke up with his girlfriend. (Does this mean he is going to stick around Salem and get nvolved with someone from Salem?).
Pauline invites Abe to take her to a nice restaurant and she will buy him Dinner. They head for Julie's Place.

Evan is at Ben's apartment. Has a gun. Going to make that bitch Ciara a widow. No one home. Meanwhile Ben goes to see Shawn at PD and hands over Orpheus 's phone and wants him to find out where the last call came from. Shawn asks what he is talking about. Ben says his dad called a last phone number and Evan/Christian Maddox answered. Shawn checks out out and the cell tower is located in Brookville. Ben wants to go there. Ciara is probably there. Shawn says maybe Evan is on the move. Ben.calls the number again. Evan answers it - "dad?" Shawn grabs it and ends the call. They screen that call and it's here in Salem - near Ben's place. Why is he in Salem?
Claire talking to Julie who is reading her tablet about Sami being arrested for murder. Claire tells her about Charlie's death and then tells her about her and Ben's suspicions. That Ciara could be alive. Julie wants to tell Doug but Claire says to wait until they actually find her first.
Eli at Brady Pub. Asks his mother to be Carver's godmother. She accepts. He tells her they are asking Abe to be godfather. He invites her to come to Julie's Place.
Abe brings Paulina into Julie 's Place. He starts to introduce her to Julie and says Jules is named after her. Paulina asks why is she named after "this old white woman?" Abe finally gets to the part that Julie is Eli's Grandmother. Val and Eli arrive. They get introduced to Paulina. Then Lani and Theo arrive. They all sit together. Paulina compliments Val on her hair. Julie goes to touch Val's hair and Paulina stops her. She says it is rude to touch a black woman 's hair. Then explains why (off camera). Lani proceeds to ask each one to be godfather and godmother but when she gets to Julue, Paulina misunderstands and assumes Lani is asking HER to be Jules's godmother and goes on and on about what an honor and privilege it will be. Rushes off to buy a gift etc. Julie is not happy. Eli says "now what do we do?"
Claire arrives at Ben's place to find Evan. She thinks he looks familiar- aren't you the guy from the Gym? - he asks who she is - "I am Claire Brady" and then realizes
She is related to Ciara. She finally figures out he is Evan (wouldn't they have posted his picture in the paper when he was arrested for killing Jordan?). He shows her his gun and says he is going to kill Ben. "Now what am I going to do with you?"
